Scrapbook of newspaper clippings re career of V.E. "Bunch" McBee, his development of various railroad lines, and his management of various companies, stock reports, news of rival rail road executives, and "Capt. McBee resigns - He voluntarily retires as fourth vice-president of the Seaboard Air Line Railway," with biographical information. Majority of clippings relate to the railroad industry, with exception of several related to the death of McBee's mother, Mrs. Harriett Butler McBee who died in Norfolk, Va., in 1901, while visiting home of V.E. McBee; a brief clipping announcing construction of the Biltmore House in Asheville, N.C.; and a feature on "Famous Goat Island Duel" between "Louis T. Wigfall, aged 23" and "Preston S. Brooks, aged 22," on a sand bar in the Savannah River near Augusta, Ga.
